At Balham Baptist Church we are a vibrant and welcoming community with something happening every day of the week. Our building is home to a wide range of groups and activities. The Hub is our onsite coffee space, open to everyone and designed to bring people together. A proportion of the money you spend on every coffee goes to support Ella’s, a London-based charity helping women who have survived trafficking and sexual exploitation. Learn more about Ella’s and how your coffee supports their vital work here.
We also run The Hangout, a free, welcoming space for parents, carers, and little ones. It’s packed with toys and activities, and has everything you need to warm up food and relax. Drop in, meet new friends, and enjoy some great coffee.

CELEBRATING 150 YEARS
In 2024, Balham Baptist turned 150! We marked this milestone with stories from our community, reflections on our future, and of course a big bring-and-share lunch. It was a joyful celebration of God’s faithfulness and our journey together.
A RESTORED BEACON CHURCH
In November, we became the first Beacon Restored Church in London, joining a nationwide movement to support survivors of domestic abuse and raise awareness within the church. Find out how we’re changing the story and how we can support you or someone you know here.
