An integral part of Balham Baptist

We all need prayer. We need to pray, and we need to be prayed for. The Bible urges us to "pray without ceasing" (1 Thess. 5:17). Prayer is a critical component of our relationship with Jesus Christ. As others have noted, prayer is the backbone of the Church. Prayer is an integral part of our worship services, Youth Church classes, and small groups. Here are some other important parts of our overall prayer ministry:

'the PrayerPOD'

Improve your prayer life and learn about meditating, fasting and praying for longer periods at the PrayerPOD. Thursdays between 7-8 am. You can also grab some breakfast when you come!

Prayer Vigils

Throughout the year, we set aside special times for corporate prayer, including round-the-clock prayer vigils. Watch for announcements of these special prayer events in the bulletin and this website.
